Another word that you might have overheard is "WYSIWYG Editor" and that stands for "What You See Is What You Get Editor". The point is that you don't need to know how to code WebPages these days. WordPress has this ability because of the share popularity of it. In fact I can't seem to find any limitations for any marketer, anytime in any future with WordPress as you chose.

Content Is King today and perhaps more so then it has ever been in the history of mankind. Good content doesn't have to be made by professionals. So called User Generated Content is very much appreciated by users and also very attractive to search engines. So instead of having a professional create content for you once every year. Make your own, every week and publish it fast. Dare to be more personal and you might be surprised by the response.

If you use WordPress you will have a bunch of plug-ins to choose from that takes care of everything and then some. You could install a SEO plug-in to take care of the "technical aspects" of making your WebPages attractive to the search engines (and hence give you a better position in the organic list). You also have plu-ins that help you with the tracking of your visitors so that you can learn a lot more about them.
