Poor Customer Service

Have recently spent time in accommodation in the City of Brisbane. Has been an interesting experience. Firstly never believe the ads you see on the internet, what appeared in the listing of the accommodation section, was different to the actual experience. The people were great but the accommodation was not of the standard that was shown on the website.

Next came a visit to a takeaway, placed an order for a double bacon burger and received a cheese burger, asked for diet coke and received normal coke, staff did not listen to what I asked for and what they charged me for.

This leads me to the point that customer service is critical in any business, you give poor service and the customer never returns. Advertise a standard of a product or service and deliver a much lower standard, the customer never returns. The added bonus for the customer is that they tell other people about it, and those people inn turn avoid the business.

It is of paramount importance that if you want the customer to return, provide what you advertise and listen to the customer as well, then they will come back for more.
To back this up I visited the Brisbane council Library in George Street. The staff were polite and extremely helpful a good place to go and visit. They even have conference rooms if you book, and the location perfect. I came back.

So listen to your customers, provide the level of service that you advertise, you will then get return business from a happy and satisfied customer.
