Disability Support

Just signed a petition this morning, something that I rarely do but it is for an excellent cause. It is for additional funding for disability services which is horribly under funded. People are having a morning teas all around Australia to get people to sign this petition, the young lady was telling me that they need at least 100,000 signatures for the Politicians to take any notice, which is a pity. Strange that Pollies seem to ignore important but personal issues for their constituents. My Local Member Wayne Swan will be getting a note from me personally regarding this, I see it as an important issue nowadays for people with disabilities, who seem to be constantly ignored by politicians. People with disabilities deserve better!
