Finally, on Good Friday Graham Quirk publicly stated that he would try and repair Our Pier to it’s original state or design. Incredible he finally realised that the Protect the Shorncliffe Pier group was there to protect our 141 year old Pier. Pity he did not listen to us originally, all of this hassle would not have occurred. We will be watching what he does in coming months, as we plan to make him keep his public commitment.

The same again, with the local candidate for Deagon coming up with their standard go away line. so again NO ANSWER.
However he is promising a heap of things for the INNER CITY, my my, are you so inept that you don't realise that you are ignoring a lot of people, oh I Guess not because we are in the outer suburbs.

Well walk over and guess what folks, NO ANSWER FROM TEAM QUIRK or Graham himself, however he has achieved the following

·         Promised more City Cats for the INNER CITY

·         Talked about Swimming Pools one in Bracken Ridge

·         Sent out election material in the form of Living in Brisbane, thought this would have been suspended while he is in caretaker mode.

·         Spruiked about his plans about Brisbane in General Terms for the INNER CITY AREA AGAIN

What he has not achieved on this day is TO ANSWER MY QUESTION that I submitted to him the other day, coming to the conclusion that he does not care about Deagon ward as the ALP represent it.

Talk about being prejudiced against us, he just ignores us. Well maybe he may improve by tomorrow, I somehow think he will not though but we can only hope his ignorance, arrogance and prejudice will dissipate.

My morning walk from Sandgate to our Pier at Shorncliffe and back, beautiful, Noticed when I reached our Pier that the sign said Pier Closed for Structural Repair.

Mmmmmm, who is telling the truth, the sign or Graham Quirk?

 Just another paragraph to this annoying saga.

Just letting my readers know that I have yet to receive a reply back from Graham Quirk or Team Quirk, makes one wonder about their integrity, if they have any.

Sent them a twitter, asking for a reply with a reference to my comments on my blog, no answer either they are ashamed, or they hope I will go away.

Not Likely, Graham Quirk & Team Quirk, answer the question.
