Importing Produce

Can anyone tell me how much produce Australia imports form overseas. I have just read and article in the Courier Mail that McCains import potatoes and are trying to get the farmers in Victoria to accept a lesser price for their crops, compared to last year, saying that they can import cheaper from overseas. Consecutive Governments seem to have been ignoring the plight of the local suppliers over imported products and they expect the rest of us to pay their Carbon Tax, Flood Tax, and general wastage of Government policies like the home insulation grant. Wake up you lot, you are strangling enterprise in this country.
